LETTUCE EAT TACOS

This is the best taco recipe, ever:

  • (1) pound of Ground Beef
  • (1) Shallot
  • (1) Cup of Water
  • Chili Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cumin
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • Garlic Powder or Garlic Salt

Finely chop the shallot (it’s annoying but the finer chopped, the better). Add ground beef and chopped shallots to skillet.

Cook until beef is browned. Drain the oil from the skillet.

Place skillet back on stove top and add all spices, seasonings, whatever they are called, salt and pepper to meat.

I go hard with seasoning so add as much as you like.

Add the water, bring to a boil, and then simmer on low until all water is evaporated. Stir occasionally.

Serve with: sour cream, sliced jalapeños, shredded cheese, salsa.
For tortillas, use lettuce or egg thins.

For taco night, place each item in it’s own bowl so people (or just you) can create your own taco bar and make your own tacos at the table.
For guacamole, serve with sliced cucumbers instead of chips.

Ole! serve with tequila and lime juice on ice. Meddled jalapeño, if you like the spice.
